It was one month ago when you first woke up in this strange jungle. Every three days since then, a terrible rainstorm has hit, bringing with it a horde of monsters somehow born of the rain itself. Another is surely coming three days from now. Gather materials, craft weapons, build your base, and most important, stay dry when it rains.

Controls: WASD/Arrow Keys to move, Space to jump, Left Click to strike, E to open inventory (max 24 slots)


When It Rains is a future 2D survival/roguelike platformer and tower defense game made for the Brackeys 2024.2 Game Jam. It is my first attempt at a complete game, and with the week I had to work on it, I met several immense challenges and only got it to a prototype stage. Despite not finishing the game, I have several people to thank for their assets and their tutorials which made my challenges much easier to navigate and overcome:
